I was at the Chicago Botanic Garden by 7:00am on Friday for about 4 hours and hiked a couple of miles to the far reaching gardens I don't always get to. This is my first shot at about 7:05. This is the Grand fountain which is situated between the two main buildings. Frequently there is a rainbow but because they were watering in the circle garden in front of it the rainbow was much darker and brighter. In the distance is the fruit and vegetable island.

It is not usual to see a "man made" rainbow like that. Good find and a nice capture of it Kathy.

A good capture of this garden variety rainbow, Kathy. :-) There used to be a fountain in the park that created the same effect. Beautiful colours and nice lighting in the photo.
