Thought this also might work in the contest. This is allium stellatum - in Minnesota they call it Prairie Onion - here in Illinois we call it Cliff Onion as it grows wild along the cliffs above a river. This was taken at the prairie restoration project close to where I live - the land used to be a Naval Air Station.

Kathy, I love this fine image, but I don't like the fragrance of allium flowers/plants, but I'm not their creator, lol.

Yes, this would make a good entry, Kathy...the purple and green and how they are subdued as opposed to bright gives a cool feeling...nice pov too...good one.
