I thank all for your kind wishes on my husbands surgery and your condolences on the sudden death of my brother. To say it has been a difficult time is putting it mildly. I take my husband to his first physical therapy after the surgery today which was delayed a bit by the funeral proceedings. I hope for a good outcome and that he will be able to lose the cane. Yesterday I took the morning for my self to get out with my camera and soothe my soul a bit. My late brother was a wonderful photographer and at one point even did weddings. He was a very kind man who did many things for other people and did many deeds of kindness that my mom and I first heard about at the wake and funeral. Like this tulip he stood out from the crowd in a quiet way and never blew his own horn. He was my only sibling and I will miss him terribly.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
