This was a new introduction I spotted when out shopping for my summer flowers. It is a small compact bush full of very fragrant mini gardenias. Each flower was only about 1.5" across unlike the usual 4" spread of a gardenia. And as the flower ages it turns a creamy color.

Small but delicate, Kathy!
See clearly that the 'older sisters' have become a creamy color. Thanks for finding and capturing this new introduced gardenia. Very well done, my friend.

She might be small in size, but sure is big on loveliness. Very nice Kathy, the exposure setting was perfect for this shot. tigs=^..^=

Wonderful capture! There are Gardenia trees at Busch Gardens, and when you pass by they are very fragrant! I went and bought one for my patio, but I didn't realise how much work they are and they haven't bloomed much, maybe this summer.

Wonderful composition, details and the softness of this image is lovely. We have gardenias and the fragrance is intoxicating.
