I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

Very nice close-up of the flower and well composed against the sky Kathy.

Kathy, think you're right with the title of your image of a Ipomoea purpura (morning glory) flower, because it shines brightly in the (morning?) sun.
Perfectly composed, and captured image!

I love Morning Glories. I thought they were the coolest flowers, when I was a kid, opening in the morning, closing at night.

Beautiful photograph. Great capture of their rich color.

It is a beautiful beautiful colour and the angle of capture is perfect.Against the blue sky and with just a touch of greenery, this deserves a place on a wall in a framne.

Apparently there is a NZ native morning glory that is pink and white but I have never seen one. We do have the blue and heaps of the white bindweed(convolvulus ) which is a real pest and poisonous, especially to horses.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
