I've started seeing Canna blooming around my area - it's a little early for them they usually start in mid-July and peak in August. This one was taken at the Botanic Garden and the name is apt as cannas are distantly related to both banana and ginger.

Looks like a bloom with freckles. Kathy this is a beautiful, and you did a super job on the color, and the details. tigs=^..^=

Excellent capture of this exotic BPC (☺) flower, Kathy.
Striking colors. Think that the freckles will attract insects in order to make the pollination successful.
