Calceolaria is also called lady's purse, slipper flower and pocketbook flower. Its geographical range is from Mexico through Patagonia with the center being the Andean region. They always make for an interesting shot and they also come in yellow.

I love this flower - I know it as Lady's slipper to add another to the list ! I have seen the yellow one with red dots
I like your colour burst presentation which makes me feel I am right there close up to this bright and beautiful bloom- nice one !
