Two Ranuncula enjoying the cool weather in the garden. They are actually the same variety - the one on the left is older and it's color has darkened to a burgandy shade. The one on the right is just opening and is a much brighter pink when newly opened. Roses show the same habit in their color. My Fx2 for this week.

The younger one naturally brighter in color. Good shot of the pair with nice details.

To me Ranunculae have, to a certain extent, the appearance of a cross between dahlias and roses.
Wonderful flowers anyhow, and perfectly captured by you, resulting in a very fine Foofy Friday contribution.
