We are starting our second batch of New Guinea impatiens here in July. Our first white New Guineas failed to thrive so we have now tried this one. This is a sunpatiens which is a new hybrid that likes sun or shade and blooms vigorously through spring, summer and fall or so the growers say. It is a very deep hot pink with very interesting leaves so even if the flowers don't bloom well the leaves are colorful.

Kathy, I agree with you that the leaves are very interesting.
They perform a perfect match with the wonderful impatiens flowers.
You're very fine image is a proof for that!
