I've see so many monarch butterflies this year more than I've seen in years. I have not seen any now in over a week so I think with our changing weather they've started their migration. I took this September 24th with the monarch at a still blooming hydrangea.

Monarch of all he surveys! It's just the regal way he's sitting on that bloom. Perhaps he likes it so much there he's reluctant to move.

Anyway, it's a beautiful shot... I wish I could do some like this.

---they've started their migration---

Think they have 'siesta time' now in Mexico, Kathy, ☺ .

I've some doubts whether the Hydrangea or the Monarch is a bonus to me. Anyhow thanks for this wonderful capture!
