This was the most gigantic head of red cabbage I had ever seen. Being that I'm half German on my moms side I've seen many, many heads of red cabbage - that vegetable was a staple in our household. This one had to have weighed 40lb. The farmer had it on display at the market and was going to enter it in some contest. Maybe a tad manic for MM.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

I won't buy it Kathy, in order to prevent that I've to consume the next days only red cabbage as vegetable, ☺ .
Referring to Richie's comment above: the caterpillars would have to do a hectic job, ☺ ,
I agree with you that its a tad manic, so a good one for MM!

Lots of cabbage soup and sauerkraut could be made from this beauty. It is enormous - well taken Kathy

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

I would be curious if it tastes all right? Usually when fruits and vegetables are large such as this, the taste is rather bland.
