Kathy, the official name of this eye-catching plant with brightly variegated leaves is Hypoestes phyllostachya. A tongue breaking name, so I prefer to use its common name, enabling me to concentrate on the beauty of its foliage.
If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins!
