Found these recently enjoying the sun, while not as showy as bearded iris they do good in areas with very cold weather and are generally very hardy. Of course this color of deep blue-purple was killer!

I had no idea that you were in Siberia. When I was there, the fields were blue with these beauties. Fine shot, and welcome back.

Kathy, I agree with more than 100% about the color of this Siberian Iris.
Because this Iris has probably adapted to climatic conditions (such as severe cold), her name is perfectly chosen.
