There are many varieties of helenium which are in the same family as asters. They bloom in late summer/early fall and are always so cheerful. This was a new cultivar with the very appropriate name "Autumn" My foofy for this first Friday of meteorological fall.

Kathy, fall at the northern hemisphere is inevitable to come. That's why these Helenium flowers are a perfect choice for your weekly Foofy Friday (F²) contribution. Their colors already put us in the proper autumn mood. It's a good goodbye to the summer season (with some melancholy however, 😁) .
