This dahlia was still blooming profusely despite how late in the season it is for dahlias. Taken with the new camera but before the macro lens arrived.

Kathy, the quality of this photograph is so good that I'm almost tempted to say you don't need a macro lens. This above comment isn't meant seriously however because I've already seen that you've achieved beautiful results with the new lens.
