Kathy, I've never been a fan of the winter cold. That doesn't change the fact that I appreciate this winter B&W scene for its beauty. Because of the winter character, the colors are of course missing. That is why the choice for B&W is the right one. Excellent item for the B&W challenge.

This is lovely, it really makes me homesick for New Hampshire and the winters there, but that's ok, I can view your lovely captures and appreciate the gifts of mother nature.
I like how you combined the foreground elements and that of the groupings in behind.. in frame.
B & W was a creative judicial choice.
