Amazed at the look of power and confidence of this male lion in Kenya. The look of his torso, paws, front legs and face says it all. The rest of the pride was about 30 yards away still feeding.

I would say 30-40 yards away in a Toyota van. My heart was pounding away and the camera was set to burst mode! Glad you like it, tumas.

They have a reason to be so confident. The lionesses provide the food for them. I love the many colors in his mane.
