The black on the Yang side bleeds right into the rest of the piece, which is something you might have been shooting for. However, I would have liked to have seen some sort of delineation of a border on the Yang side to fully establsh the symbol's boundaries. May you know success and fulfillment.

Hi Me. :o)

Have I got some stuff for you ... ready? Good good, let's go ...

First, I have viewed both versions of your image here. Suggestion ... don't know what the resolution was of the yin/yang symbol that you incorporated into your composition ... however ... check this out.

The service is free to use and vectorizes images ... such that, scalability is possible without the usual attendant issues.

Perfect for a piece like yours here and in particular, the yin/yang symbol. :o)

I really like your idea and concept. Think, if you are not tired of it ... it's worth another revisit and maybe renovation of sorts.

Not quite sure ... what the bottom portion is (grey strip, for lack of a better descriptor). It does look like a base for something.

That said ... yes, very good idea.

As for the photographic portion ... if you wish for a more silky smooth look ... go here for Neat Image. Freeware, once more and a more than capable noise reduction program. Used widely on the site here by many members.

Or perhaps this is simply a case of you taking some artisitic licence ... your choice.

Just had a thought ... could you not have selected the area referred to in the above comment ... and then used Bevel and/or Emboss? (If I have that right ... me brain is a wee bit tired at the moment) Just a thought.

The simplicity of your design here appeals to my own artistic sensibilities. I like that aspect very much ... peaceful and tranquil to view.

So ... lots to read courtesy of motor fingers here ... and but of course, thank you for sharing your creativity with us. :o)
