I was asked to give a comment on this picture. I am an amateur. Yet, I'll try my best and will give you an honest viewpoint.
This is a ploughed land with a row of trees in the far background. On the first look, it looks so barren and simple. But a deeper view reveals what Salmamirza has summarized in a nice way: "Hope of new life emerging soon!". It is a very pleasant subject.
Technically, the emphasis is -quite appropriately- on the land: less than a fifth of the whole shot is occupied by the trees and sky combined together! I consider this very bold and smart on behalf of the photographer. "Bold" because the photographer is not afraid of the initial negative impact of the colourless field on the viewer. "Smart" because it sends the afterwards message of hope coercing you into more "thinking and foretelling".
The lighting is quite good. I do not consider the lack of enough colour as a disadvantage; on the contrary, I'd say it's a plus for the reason mentioned above.
The orderly lines of the ploughed/tilled land are another pleasing factor in this shot.
Overall, I'd give this shot three green lights.
