Taken last year on our honeymoon in Canada. From the tower in the city centre, I thought I'd have a go at some night photography. Behind the glass too, quite pleased.
Great focus and clarity, Mark! I'd love to know the specs on f-settings and aperature if you have those. Digital, I assume? The variety of colors in your capture make this most interesting! Behind glass, Wow! - Patty
I really love this picture. I live on Vancouver Island and find that Vancouver is so crowded and is not always my favourite place to go (as I'm used to more country life). However, this photo really captures a nice side of Vancouver. All of the different colours are great. I'm impressed at the clarity you got, being behind the glass.
Thanks for posting.
What a nice photo Mark. The beautiful night with all the lively colors of life in the city has been captured to perfection .. from behind the glass yet. Wonderful.

This was taken in the days of point and shoot, so the only things I could control were no flash and exposure time. I took several pics, and this was the best compromise between brightness and clarity. It's a 3.2 second exposure at f/2.8 on a focal length of 7mm. As for Vancouver itself, the wife and I loved it (and Canada as a whole). It was the best holiday I've ever had, the scenery and people were fabulous!
Yay, I'm glad to see another Vancouver picture on here. Nice shot! I've been up the Harbour Centre a couple of times, but I'm not sure I got any good shots.
