Found this old abandoned house at the edge of this woods and thought it made a pretty shot. About 150 yards away with the d300 and 18-200mm lens.I know it may be a bit dark but not that bad. Hope you enjoy the colors.

The darker colors look fantastic to me & works well for this scene. I like how the abandoned house is partially hidden amongst the trees. Excellent capture Doug.

I think so too, the darker hues work well to showcase those beautiful colors. The leaves illuminated on the ground give depth. Beautiful.

Sometimes darker is better and I do think that applies to this one. Love the beautiful deep colors and the composition here Doug. Great find and a great shot. =^..^= sandi ♪

I don't think it is to dark at all. As has been said, a perfect picture by any standards. The house hidden in the trees lifts it from the other fall pictures. Very good.
