Is the glow of the sky really that color? This is gorgeous Doug! I like the scene and the garage light really added to this nicely. At least I think so. Beautiful trees too!

The sky is just the city lights reflecting in some cloud cover.
A long exposure will pick this up as our eyes do at times.
Pretty fun huh?

Wonderful Capture.
Looks 3-D !
Reminds me of when I was a kid and we had these Binocular looking gadgets. I think they were called ViewMasters and you'd put a little round disc in them that had pics on it and you'd click the button on the side to switch to another image.

Well this image looks like One of those you'd see on the ViewMaster.
Very Good Post.

I like the evening warmth this photo shows. The lighting is just right, and I like your idea of taking a photo of yoru neighbors house. I think he might like to see it too. And altho I like the icicle on the right, I do feel it detracts a tiny bit. It's a wonderful idea to take this shot. Verena

This could be the only image I have brought over here with snow in it. This is a lovely shot... it really appeals to me! Right now in Vancouver and area, things are so foggy you could take a picture of a white/grey wall (a bit out focus) and say it's a shot from here! Shots from Seattle look just like here! They reported the Space Needle was missing this morning! :o)
