My buddy Gabe and I took a walk Sunday afternoon in the country and grabbed a few shots.He's my Lab in case ya didn't know.We had fun walking and taking in the cool air.Hope you enjoy. No editing just a low exposure and yes it's a bit dark but this is what I was shooting for. Thanks My Friends

Winter with alot of warmth ... I like that. The low exposure works well here as the color tones are nicely balanced throughout this scene. Personally I may have off-centered the sun to the right or left ... but that's a me thing. I'm enjoying the shadow play on the snow in the foreground. Beautifully captured Doug & glad you enjoyed your walk with your buddy, Gabe.

I like the cold quiet feeling I get when I look at this photo of yours. And even the bit of darkness gives more drama and even peace. I too, think the sun would have been a bit better if it were off to one side or the other a bit. I love the shadowed effects. You did a fine job with this. Gorgeous shot Doug! I can see the twinkling snow on the ground so perfectly! I don't think its dark at all. Perfect to me!
