There was no one to take a pic of me on the bench, so I figured you would all imagine yourselves on this lovely spot at the beach overlooking the mighty Pacific Ocean. It was a beautiful day and so soothing to my whole self. I could have stayed there a long time for sure.This part of the beach faces North of the Haystack Rock Pic..and Haystack is South..But its all the same beach.Notice the "lookalike" clouds..( Things are still pretty rough with my family crisis, but I just got back from Southern ORegon, and decided to post a couple photos for you to enjoy, plus it helps me to take my mind off the other pains.) Thanx so much for being here..

Definitely saving it and adding it to Favorites... amazing shot. Looks like a really calmed place... aww i miss the sea =( haven't seen it in a long time.. thanks for this great photo

Just the kind o' seat I lioke for a quick snooze!...cant get too comfortable on this, I would probably 'roll' off!....But awake, I would really enjoy this fabulous view..........

Ha! I had to laugh when I saw the thumbnail and before I had seen who has responded to this composition, I wondered if Dunstickin had seen it. I see he has. Verena, this is one of your better masterpieces. Now, I have a place to sit by the ocean. I love the sparkle on the water way out on the horizon. The sky is beautiful as well. And then, I love that big ole rock with it's great texture and color down in the left forefront. Great composition. Thks for posting.

Very effective to put the empty bench in the picture. It helps the viewer to really get into the scene as they imagine sitting there listening to the gulls and the waves crashing on shore.

Oh, this photo makes my day! If I sat on that bench, I'd stay all day. My favorite place to be-near the ocean. Most breathtaking view. I like that rock next to the bench and the green grasses. The ocean is magnificent with the pretty white caps rolling in. Nice with the folks strolling on the beach. The clouds are so fluffy, and I like the far off bank of clouds. Verena, this is a perfect beach image and I thank you..I hope your problems will soon be over~ :>
