On the way to Portland there was a pretty good view of Mt Hood in the midst of the countryside where I live. We don't get to see it from here all that often, but I thought this was such a pretty scene. The mountain is in the Cascade Mountain range, I loved the way it seemed to "glow" from the evening sun.

A very beautiful image with those magical mountains in the distance. And such good detail to catch that plane!

Marvelous capture of Mt Hood, Verena. I have seen it once or twice when trucking up that way. This is a pretty clear view of it you have here. Well done.

Very nice shot. Mt.Hood is on my agenda in the not too distant future for a photo shoot.

What a beautiful capture Verena. I like the plane flying by in this also. It really gives a perspective of how large this mountain is.

Now that is one awsome shot. I have never been to Oregon, but just to see Mt.Hood would make the trip worthwhile.
