Such beautiful snow! This is photo shooting into the little forest next to our house. I love this area. See the "snowcone?"(couldn't resist)...that is actually my little carved wooden bear underneath the snow cover. But he isn't showing up anymore at this point! lol (ooops on the 'point')! I think I am going totally stir crazy! Fifteen days not out in my car at this time! Whew. But I think tomorrow I can get out in our four wheel drive truck! Hope so!! Our huge Black Locust tree fell! It was old and about 20 feet tall! So sad it's gone, but the weight of the snow and ice uprooted it, thank goodness it didn't fall on the house. It did demolish the retaining wall just a few feet from the house tho. We still have 2 feet of snow on the ground. More photos soon.

great shot. we had planned to be there again this year for new years but chickened out because of the snow. it looks beautiful, but seems to have been very confining.

That's too bad about the tree falling. We have a lot of broken ones here, from the weight of all the ice. Nice shot of your winter wonderland, Verena.
