This is one of my canvas paintings.I took a photo of it. I had posted it before, but maybe some of you newer caedes members had not seen it, so I thought I'd bring it out of the old shoebox file. I appreciate any critiques or comments. Thanx you ahead of time.

Being a fan of water and beach scenes I was immediately drawn to this...the abandoned boat and lighthouse add alot of appeal to the scene and just a touch of color to the soothing neutral tones...it's a wonderful painting, Verena, and I'm faving this one.

Although I'm a Caedes member for more than three years now Verena, can't rembember I've seen this painting before. That's strange as it impressed me at first sight. I know I've grown old, but suppose that's not the reason (lol). I've must have missed it for another reason. Therefore thanks for reposting it, as it's a very fine painting.

A gorgeous painting Verena ... you are so talented. I'm enjoying the soft pinks & the white mixed in with the shades of blue. The painting does have such a natural feel to it with the lighthouse on the cliff & the stranded boat on shore. Very well done & thanks for sharing.

Verena, nice painting. I love the ocean even though I don't live anywhere near it. I've lived in San Juan Puerto Rico and several places near the ocean. My father was in the Army so we traveled a lot.
