This is part of the Columbia Gorge River area. Looking into Washington from the Oregon side. I loved the clouds behind those hills. I had forgotten I had some of the Gorge photos, so here is one for you to enjoy. This is the route that the pioneers traveled with Lewis and Clark. It's so beautiful now, but I imagine it was pretty hard work for those people.

Oh yes, very sharp well done image. Makes you feel like you are setting in a boat looking at the mountain scenery. Great capture.

Great image! This is part of what I love about the gorge area. Driving from east to west along the river, you see high mountain desert then end up with incredibly lush greenery. I would love you see more Columbia river/gorge pictures!

It is known that there is an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. I especially like the clouds coming over the mountains too, Verena! I find it odd that there are not more trees growing on the mountain. Beautiful colours throughout, and a fantastic composition!
