This is the Oak tree in front of my new little place I moved to. It was filled with hundreds of little Acorns. So I tried my best to get a good photograph of these. I used a bit of special effecs on the leaves, so I hope you enjoy that too. I thought it brought out the beautiful soft colours a bit more.

I like it very much! I seldom get a good look at them on the tree. Brings back memories too, as it is the same quote the doctor told us when my sister was born six weeks early. : )

Good morning my friend
A nicely framed catch. This is not an image that one looks at for specifics but that one looks at for resting of the eyes. Yes, one could look closely at just the acorns, or just the leaves, but it is in the blanketing effect of the leaves around the acorns that the actual image revolves. Thus, neither acorn nor leaf becomes a focus but rather the overall atmosphere instead draws the attention.

Music is more than the notes we hear; it is the spaces between the notes that make it complete.

Very well presented here Lady V. Do not know why but I really love acorns. There is just something special about them. I have two on my desk that I saved from the squirrels.

Very nice capture, it seems that all of ours come down all at once, and I never get there in time, so I'm glad to see your super shot. LOve the framing also, really sets it off.

Wow Verena! I really like the treatment you gave this piece. It's not just a photo that's clean and bright as usual but with a wonderful soft "negative grainy" texture that really compliments this well. COOL!!
