Hey Verena!
Looks like a very old barn covered in newer metal! You guys have some of the coolest looking old farms out that way! Great image!

Verena - This old barn is trying to shed its newer siding and get back to its roots. I like the old wood much better. Interesting that the barn is built on piers, not a foundation. Some of the clouds look ominous, yet the blue sky indicates better weather to come. Thanks for seeing this scene and sharing it with us. Thad

The wind is working on getting rid of the metal siding and I say good riddance. The wood is where the character remains. Of course the metal would protect in and make it useful for years to come. Either way you have a good shot.

An interesting looking barn! The gray skies and the bare trees really add to the mood.

Now, why in the world would they want to cover up the old barn sidin' with that metal stuff? It's like a puttin' masks on Grandma and Grandpa. Mother Nature is a doin' it's best to get that barn to show is own true looks. Maybe I can get Cuzin Jasper to come an rip the rest of that silver stuff right off. LOL. Beautiful work on this, Verena. The colors and that sky are fantastic.

Very nice sharp detail and love the natural colours in this shot Plus it is like the roof of the barn is all most in the clouds.

I always wonder why people let their barns get so dilapidated. But then you wouldn't get wonderful shots like this if they didn't!...lol...Excellent girl!

A dramatic looking sky in the background. Love the weathered look of the wood and the stained metal roof of the shed.
