This was a canvas painting I did a year ago, when we had 2 1/2 feet of snow. I saw the snowstorm approaching, and there was an area near where I lived that had these spindly looking trees. But this painting was done only by memory. I hope you like it and will give me some of your thoughts on it. Thanx so very much.

You've captured the sense of the storm perfectly Verena. A nice touch of bloo in your canvas. A great job and a beautiful painting.

You really get the impression the snowstorm will soon engulf the trees (and the artist!). Great work, Verena.

That looks like one mean storm front moving in! I'm so tickled to have the chance to see your canvas paintings, Verena! You did an excellent job of simulating snow with little mounds around the bottoms of the trees, and the swirls of the storm in the sky! The stark trees really stand out, and enhance the mood of cold. But, most of all, I like the perspective which draws the eye toward the approaching storm! Excellent work once again! Thank you so much for sharing :)
