Where else - down by the river. I was moving away from the boat lauch and these two watched me very carefully. You can't trust those guys walking around quietly with a camera.
"Acknowledge yourself for how far you have come, instead of how far you think you have to go." I'm always happy to see you at My Gallery. I appreciate all of you. Thanks, Anita
They DO look suspicious of you, but I can see you're far enough away and just close enough to get this great shot of these two. They are composed so well here in front of that sensationally colored log. I was wondering if it had been wetted at some point to make that reddish glow stand out so well, and the dark green "froth" of grasses on the right help to make the coloring and markings on the geese prominent. The background is calm and gentle in only the way a body of water can be at times, and it doesn't present the viewer with any distractions..I also like the framing along the bottom of the lighter greens set off by the various tans of the stones and leaves behind it, but the only thing I would offer is that I might have given them a little less prominence, even though they help define DOF, IMHO they tend to "dwarf" the subjects just a bit. But I'm nitpicking at this point ..lol...it's really very nicely done :)PJ
