abstract
Butterflies trying to break free from their prison. My second time working with tools that I'm still trying to become familiar with. My first one will be uploaded later but I put a ton of work into this and wanted to show it first. Hope you enjoy!

Nice idea. The gold edging around the "crack" doesn't really make sense to me in the context of the image but it doesn't really have to I guess.

Yeah, I didn't originally have that there but it felt kind of naked to me so I put that there and it was just what I needed. Being art and all I didn't feel as though it needed to make sense. It's a metaphor for me personally but to others it could be just an image and taken literally. Thank you for your input :)

Very nicely done indeed. I hadn't actually figured out it was a crack - maybe because it does look a bit neat with the gold edging.
This is beautifully conceived and executed. Not necessarily exactly my style or colours, but that's no criticism.
I do wonder how that butterfly will get through with wings intact, though!

Hehe, I did have a hard time deciding the color so I have a few of them done on my website. And it's breaking free but not quite yet. That's the point. And the gold around the edges is just sort of like the melting away of the edges of the crack. It's not meant to be literal at all. That's why I love art. It can mean so many things and doesn't have to follow the rules. Thanl you for your view of it and your comment :)

Wonderful job .. The pen tool is something I've never attempted, but I have been meaning to .. I also like your Flickr gallery, namely "Purple vision", as it is not posted here .. the lightning orb is fabulous
