This is the Arborvitae taken a few weeks later. These little pinecones are so small that they almost look like blight on the tree until you look closely and see all of those little 'flowers' blooming. You can see the first one Here

Hilda, you've just cleared up a mystery for me. Lots of people have these in their yard, and about this time of year I always feel so bad for them because it looks like they're all about to die and I wonder why they continually use them if they are so hard to keep allive. Now I know that that's the fruit of the tree I'm seeing. I'm going to be a little more careful in my inspection next time :) Again, you've captured these leaves and pinecones in such great detail and clarity. You know already I love this color combination, and I think I'm repeating myself..lol...Great Job :)PJ

They really have opened up a lot Hilda. This is wonderfully composed and the colors are dynamite. They are just so very interesting. Sure glad you shared this progress one as well. Thanks.

CITIZENS of our world, check my website for a riveting, informational video that concerns all of you and the future of our globe. You will be flabbergasted, annoyed, distressed, in disbelief, but you will have been made aware of the WARNINGS. See this film. It gets better as it goes along, but will have your attention from the first quote.
