These wildflowers were budding when we were in Atlanta a few weeks ago. We don't have this variety where I am from so I am unsure of the name. Sometimes the only difference you can see between spring and fall is the wildflower breaking through the leaves!

Great vivid colors in this one Hilda. Sort of reminded me of Christmas. Don't know why.

These are just gorgeous, Hilda, my friend. It's so nice to see new life springing out, replacing that which has gone on. Clear and crisp and so beautifully composed, as always

It is a neat shot representing different seasons. Nice find, Hilda!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

These look like Bloodroot. If you were to pick one, reddish-colored juice would drip out of the stem. Native Americans used this plant for dye and also medicinally. They bloom in early spring before the leaves come on the trees.
