Still looking back through flowers and color with longing and getting an early jump on the Valentine season. "There is no greater invitation to love than loving first." St. Augustine

I'm impressed with not only your clarity, but with the good composition here, Hilda. Nicely presented.

Ace colours in this and I like that blurred background. There are a couple of things niggling at me - DOF which I think could have been a bit deeper to make the whole of the flower sharp, and I might have zoomed in a bit closer to get rid of some of that empty space. But green and pink together is a real winner and you had a great eye to combine them so effectively here.

A lovely colour combination and an overall softness I find most appealing. The blurred backgrond with its touches of pink looks almost like a painting and then this oh so real bloom emerges.
The more I look the more I like it - have faved it :)

This was a favorite flower of my wife (Rest her soul). She would have loved this picture as I do gazing at it right now. Wonderful focus and nice composition and a C-Index that has me scratching my head in disbelief.
