Last year this tree was growing in our friends' yard. They moved away and since I loved it they let me have it. I anxiously waited for it to blossom this year and was thrilled when it did. Caught this one after a rain. Last year's shot is here.

Fantabulous in your face flora and a grand idea!! I like the idea of the focal point being off-center, but, it seems perhaps a wee too off-center. Some grain exudes, perhaps a wee post work in a photo editor could clean that up?? Snazzy color offerings really workin'!!
