This was taken the day before Wilma slammed into us here in Florida. The sounds of the waves crashing was incredible. This is my last post for a while due to no internet where I will be staying for work.
Wow DJ, what a great capture. I love the storm clouds gathering in the distance. Too bad it was a destructive hurricane:(. The waves rolling in are awesome. There are many different variations of the colors blue & gray in this shot. Thanks for posting it. I will miss you on the site. Good luck! :~)
ty so much mimi.. ill be back before you know it..
and on a side note: the title implies more meaning for me than just what was mentioned in the caption.. Waiting seemed fitting to me due to my personal circumstances.. Ive been waiting to get back home to the New Orleans area for over 2 months now.. we waited for Wilma to approach as it stalled out over the Yucatan.. so many reasons to wait, yet looking out over the ocean can seem to make those things forgotten, if even for a moment.. and dont worry, i will find a way to hop on here and let everyone know how i am ;]
Great capture Dj, I love the different colors & textures in your photo. I'm glad you posted this, but I think everyone will miss you. You take care.

I thought I had found all the ocean wave pics on this site but when I saw yours, I realized I had somehow missed it. Great shot. Love that title. I can feel the suspense in the photo (Durn those hurricanes). I think you caught the underlying agitated mood of the water thats knows something is coming and is going to churn it every which way but loose. I like the forboding colors and atmosphere of the whole photo. It says a lot.
Great capture.

How lovely it is when unexpected blessings come into my life to cheer me up and put a smile into my heart. Help me to pass them on, dear Lord. Fay Angus
