Terragen with some touch up in PS. I was more focused on the sky color.. so forgive the mountains. We have some of the best sunsets here in Arizona with all the shades of reds, yellows, and golds. ( mainly due to all the dust in the air! :P ) Thanks for looking.

This is a great picture of the arizona landscape. I love the colors in the sky and the red reflection it gives on the ground. Great job!

the sky looks rather flat and needs to be layered with the clouds or something. also, the terrain needs to be more varied in color as right now it's uniformity (as you pointed out) detracts from the image.
