I like it. The composition takes an everyday image and presents it in a unique way. A bit on the noisy side though, a quick run through a noise reduction program would help quite a bit. That being said the coloring of the picture is excellent.

~~Edit - DP was kind enough to get back to me and let me know that the backdrop was textured and that may be why I felt it was noisy. Looking at the red towards the bottom of the picture I agree that I probably mistook texture for noise! I am even more impressed with the post now!

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??
Beautifully composed, almost monochromatic, which makes it interesting. The light capture is well done. It's rather like a Dutch school still life painting, but done with modern objects. Excellent.

hmm. Such mundane objects, but they make a surprisingly comforting DT. I like how the glass is almost invisible: it gives shape via the reflections, but itself hides out of sight.

This is such a gorgeous image!! I love the warm colours, espcially that deep red. To top it off, the gold is the best finish.
