I am known as "Peapod", but my real name is Mindy Sommers; I am the co-ringmistress of FAR, or the Fractal Artists' Ring. The other co-ringmistress is Tina Coggins of www.tcdesign.net. She, too, has a gallery here.

More than the second largest fractal webring on the web, we're also a community of artists who share ideas and have fun creating fractal art. We have discussion boards, a users gallery where artists can create and upload their own personal galleries on our high-traffic homepage, and lots more. In fact, right now we're having a screensaver project that all our members look forward to every year.

We don't just want to be a webring that links sites together and you never hear from us again. Anyone can do that. We support our members in all they do--whether they are selling their work, learning new techniques or whatever else they are committed to in the realm of fractals, we make it our business to support each other. Bottom line, though, is that members can get involved as much or as little as they desire. :) It's up to them.
