Thanks Will. I stumbled onto caedes by accident but found so many simply beautiful images that I visit every day now. I havent been a member long, and most of the photos are so amazing that its a bit daunting trying to find words to appropriately express my admiration. Mostly I tend to just think wow! or oooohhh! and sink into the image and there are already lots of those on most of the images:) But when I saw only two comments on ur picture I thought I should stop being lazy and make an effort... it was just lovely. I had never before thought about photography at all but seeing all the pics here I feel like taking it up! Best of luck and Im sure you'll find more comments from me on your gallery :)

Thanks for the comment on "Tahquitz Sunset". The shot is pretty much true to life. I didn't do anything to it in the computer. The clouds are the coastal marine layer moving in and the extra color is from the sun passing through the smog from LA. So your a software developer, I couldn't code my way out of a wet paper bag but I like playing around with Linux. The open source community inspired me to post my images for others to use on their desktops

Thanks for the wonderful comment you left on "Waiting For God". I really enjoy going after the religious themes, though I'm not religious myself. They just come ready-packed with emotion and atmosphere. These days I no longer get to make that early morning commute over water, so I don't get to see such beautiful sights. These days I have to be content with more prosaic subject matter.
