Hi Meg. Welcome to Caedes. Thanks for commenting on Days of Glory. The castles in the Pyrenees all have such sad stories that if you ever visit them you should be prepared to cry for the thousands of lives that were extinguished in the name of religion.
Welcome Meg! I see you had a peek in my gallery. Thank you for the comments on "Cloud Burst", "TAKE A RIDE BACK IN TIME" and "Saskatchewan Fall". I appreciate the kind words;-)
But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
Hey again Meg, thanks for the comment on "Make your wish". There'll not be any more room for anyone else on here if you keep showing up on my images =D. Thanks again, very appreciated.
Hi Meg. Thanks for your kind words on "Arabian lights" glad you liked it. Ps. Where is Ellesmera? Just interested as I have a daughter Called (Elle). Cheers Al.

I'm happy to hear that you liked La Punta. The little town really was lovely, and the people who live there were delightful. My only caveat is this: the town is a gay resort, and the beach is nude, so you see a lot of things that you probably don't care to watch. Thanks for your kind words.
Meg;
I am very late with my correspondence to you. Please forgive the delay. Your input is important to me so pleases don't feel that I have avoided you.
Thanks for all of the nice comments about The old Mill image. It is next to impossible to get to where this image was created due to washed out roads and rock slides. In many ways this is good, however the sad part is it is very difficult getting there to get a photograph. You have seen this building from anthing from fine art to an ad for butter. This is one of those photographs that you are required to have if you are a photographer in Colorado. This building is located near Marble Colorado. It was a saw mill at one time. That is about all that is known about it since all history of that old ghost town has been lost with time.The river that it sits above is the Crystal river,

Hi Meg, I was surprised to hear "Winding Road" was in lonely images too, especially since I thought you only got images in there if you didn't upload much (and I upload more than just about anyone!) Anyway the shot was taken in the very lovely town of Armidale, New South Wales. There are more shots in my gallery if you care to look, and more on the way today.

Meg,
Thank you for your very kind words about my, Solitude Reworked.I do have some bad news for you. Although I also love the beauty of Utah, this image was not captured there. If you will read what I had posteed again it will inform you that I took this in Coorado and posterd it before we headed to that wounderful state.

I am glad you liked the "mountain church". The place is mysterious. I strongly encourage you to look at some other Bieszczady photos in my gallery.
Thanks once more for your comment.
Either you repeat the same conventional doctrines everybody is saying, or else you say something true, and it will sound like it's from Neptune.

What a delight it was to open my page and find you viewing and sharing your thoughts and comments with me about “Dunajec castle II”, dear Meg. I was glad to find this place in such unusual weather conditions. The castle with a sky above as if brewing up for a storm looked mysterious surrounded by the dark menacing waters …
Thanks for the comment on 'Garden in the spring' : ) and yes, that just so happens to be the garden at the baltimore estate. have you been there before?
