"Once you have heard the lark, known the swish of feet through hill-top grass and smelt the earth made ready for the seed, you are never again going to be fully happy about the cities and towns that man carries like a crippling weight upon his back."
- Gwyn Thomas
Hi and a big WELCOME, to you! I hope that you enjoy all the wonderful people on Caedes as much as I have. Thank you for liking "The Winner". I appreciate it a lot! Sincerely, Marilyn
Thank you for your nice comments on my image. Daffodils 4 was made with the wide angle macro mode, at f11 with an ISO 50 and a black velvet background using natural sunlight. I'm glad that you enjoyed it.

Oh, yeah, and also thanks for your comments on "Meadow of Thought" and "Alone but Satisfied". Yes, it Is in my backyard. Mwa ha ha ha! "Meadow of Thought" is actually just outside my grandparents backyard also, I seem to like their backyard better though...

They sparkle and shine when the sun is out,
but when the darkness sets in,
their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.
