Hello! Thank you for your wonderful words on "Autumn Pink"! They are very much appreciated. I thought the image was out of focus somewhat, but the responses seemed to think not. Yes, it was a beautiful place to be at a marvelous time of yr. Sincerely, Marilyn

Thank you SINisha-Sasha for the comments on my Macon Sunset 2 photo. I'm glad that you like it. It was a bland image until I overlayed some extra color and bumped up the contrast. It was a beautiful sunset and my camera just didn't capture the true feeling of it.

Hi, Sasha, thanks for taking a look at Almost Winter and making time to comment. Very happy that you liked the shot. We get a lot of foggy mornings in the Cuyahoga Valley, so I get a certain amount of practice shooting in the mist. But none of that automated stuff on the camera was designed for fog, so I usually end up doing manual exposure and focus...Mike

THanks for your comment on "ancient window. Yes, the image is photoshoped. Alot of color burning with different colors and some dodging. Levels and some radial transparent gradients. Not sure if htere was more, i should keep track of all the effects.

Hi Sasha. I'm glad you liked Puilaurens. I tell people that the secrets to getting good photographs are these: a) Go to beautiful places. b) Have a camera with you when you do.

Thanks
