Thanks for stopping by "Seonda Clouds and Rain". I'm saddened by the fires and know it must be awful. I go every year to my timeshare there and am hoping it will recover. I appreciate your comments.
For the moon glow all I did was balance my camerea on a balcony rail and took the picture. It is not blown up or cropped except to get 1600/1200. The camera has a leica lense and has a12x opitcal zoom and a 4 x digital zoom. With most cameras forget the digital zoom but with this lense it works very well. It also has image stabilization so I can get photos that orinary cameras have to crop. I played with different shutter settings from 1/2 sec to 1/15th. The longer exposure came out too bright even with f8. Hope this helps. Ted
Kia Ora Bill, thanks for your nice words on Aglow. I think it was just lucky timing, I am not noted for my patience :) So many beautiful winter sunsets here just now, most evenings I take a few shots, all from the same spot over my fence. The viewpoint may become boring but the sunsets are always so very different.
Thanks for your comments on my "Padre Butte." Much appreciated. You are correct about the white lines being the water line. The lake is down about 80 feet right now. That should put the height of this butte into perspective.
And since our paths have not crossed before now, welcome to Caedes.
