This very shy subject appears to be a Southern Lepoard Frog, I think we have 2 or 3 that have made a home in this little bitty backyard pond. En ja ik kom er elke keer weer achter als ik half op mijn buik door de natuur schuif dat er nog zo ontzettend veel te ontdekken is.
We hebben de neiging om af te gaan op mooie voor de hand liggende onderwerpen als vlinders en libelles en logisch natuurlijk want die maken elke keer weer indruk.
Maar er is nog zo veel meer te zien....en eerlijk gezegd vergeet ik dat wel eens...jij niet?

Thanks for the nice comment on Tractor 1.. I just love the parade every year.. I love small town parades.. They are so much fun.. I saw some when I was in Germany a long time ago... Some things are different, but not much.. I have two more tractors to go, and lots of other fun things.. I don't expect them to stay but they are fun to post....

Hallo Eric, Bedankt voor je bezoekje en compliment op mijn koolwitje. Weet dat het gewaardeerd wordt. Zelfs het witje is in de omgeving van Ridderkerk heel weinig te zien. Het heeft weken gekost om deze op de plaat te krijgen. Andere soorten heb ik helemaal niet gezien. Hopen dat het volgend jaar beter wordt.

Thnaks fo rthe ccomment on Farmers Market.. Here the farmers bring their produce to town on Saturday mornings.. The farms are too far apart to be reached by the town folk.. There are more pictures to come... This is the first and the best..

Hoi Eric, Bedankt weer voor je compliment op Comma. Dit vlindertje kwam ik geheel onverwacht tegen.Ik kreeg de kans om maar een foto te nemen...zo gauw ik afedrukt had vloog ie weg en niet meer gezien. Ik was dan ook blij dat het een mooie foto geworden is.

Het was eigenlijk niet mijn bedoeling een winterfoto te plaatsen.
Maar op speciaal verzoek van Christopher ( de paddestoelenman ) die erg benieuwd was na mijn foto van de Cladonia-floerkeana met ijskristallen besloot ik deze te posten.
En eerlijk gezegd verbaasde het me hoeveel "comment"ik hier op kreeg.
Het is een leuk natuurfenomeen misschien, maar als foto nou niet echt geweldig vind ik.
En ja helaas binnenkort weer afscheid van de mooie vlinders en libelles.
maar goed....de 23e eerst maar eens op vakantie en maar eens zien of ik de zomer nog ff kan rekken en wat mooie foto's kan maken.

beter laat dan nooit...maar toch even een bedankje voor je reactie op Crane Fly - Tipula sp..
Ik vond deze langpoot zo'n mooie pose hebben dat ik het niet kon laten hem te fotograveren.
Ik wil eigenlijk zo langzamerhand ook wel eens insecten tijdens de vlucht schieten, maar dit is toch wel verdomd moeilijk.
Is dit jou al wel eens gelukt?
