Oh ... Sorry to rant on your page "Brilliance" .. I will try not to do it again on that page ... but if they pull me back in .. well, then, it could get messy.

Hey Christopher, thank you for the comments on (Winter Mountain) and (Infinite Stairway). I'm glad you enjoyed both pictures! Happy 1-year Caedesiversary by the way~
Thanks Christopher! I'm glad that you liked my On Golden Pond image idea. Thanks for voting and commenting on my work. This is a combination of several photo elements with a ripple effect added.
Thank you Cristopher for your comments on "Sleepy Swan". I'm pleased you liked it.

Hello Cristopher! Thanks for taking the time to view and leave the nice comments on my image. I'm glad that you found my Shell Point Sunset photo enjoyable. When I saw the little thatched umbrella and the tree I knew that this would be a nice framing for the coming sunset.

Chris, thanks for the comment on "Avenues of Gold". Yeah, many people dont like the borders that i put into my night photos. Personal preference I guess. Glad you liked the shot!
Those are nice comments you left at "I Lost My Mum..." Christopher". Thank you. My old scouting song: Kookaburra sits on electric wire, tears in his eyes and his pants on fire.
Thank you Christopher for your comments on "Reflective Patterns".

I also was able to snap pretty much the same exact photo with my aperture stopped down all the way, and the backgroud came out crystal clear. I liked both, but ended up picking the one with the blurred background. Artistic choice, but definitely a tough one to make. I'll let you know when I post the other version, but for a few days I'll be bumping against my 2 pics per day limit with other pics.
Chrispher, no it is not fall here, yet. "Overreaching" was not taken this year. However, I do thank you for looking at it and leaving a comment. I really do appreciate it. - John

Thank you for commenting on "Wasatch Autumn 2!" Luckily these leaves stayed still enough for me to get a very interesting shot (it was a very windy day). Glad you like it!
A great photograph is a full expression of what one feels about what is being photographed in the deepest sense, and is, thereby, a true expression of what one feels about life in its entirety. (Ansel Adams)
Thank you for commenting on "Washington Monument" I have to agree with you. I liked the composition but was hoping for the cherry blossoms to stand out more.
G'day Christopher.
Thanks for the overwhelming enthusiasm for Commonwealth Place. I like that image a lot too, one of my better uploads I think.
Peace,
Mikel.
Hello Christopher,
Saw this image come up on the front page and it immediately attracted my attention. What a great capture. Love the atmosphere and lighting. It's a keeper.

Thanks for the comment you left on my Fall Leaves photo. I appreciate it. It's a beautiful time of year in November in Bloomington, IN and I tried to take advantage of it.
Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting on Renovating The Parthenon, it's greatly appreciated! I agree with the scaffolding being kind of annoying, but it does kind of lend a little something to the scene. It would still be nice to get that perfect shot though!

Sorry it’s taken so long to respond to your comments. I’ve been sort of “out of service” since my last posting. I appreciate your critique of “Tracks”. Thank you..

Thanks very much for you comments on Plant Scaffolding. Much appreciated!!! It was a moment of inspiration.
The camera was fairly new and I was snapping away at anything remotely interesting. I often treat the camera like a microscope, to explore the small things around us. The micro world (macro photography) is often overlooked for the big landscape images - which are also great.
The leaf just happened to be in a sheltered part of the garden, so these exposed filaments did not disintegrate very quickly. A good bit of luck and some white paper and a deskside lamp to add contrast and depth to the details. :-)
Hi Christopher, glad you enjoyed my photo "Another red belly" Found that one in my archives. Thank you for the comment. Glad you think it is one of the best on Caedes too.
Thanks for stopping my picture glendalough and giving your advice on it. It was my first attempt at a water shot! Well it was the best of a batch from the day. I might spruce up the colours like you said and repost it. Thanks for your critique
Thanks guys for your comments. I have redone the photo (glendalough) in photoshop and added a bit more colour etc. Id agree with Tomeast on the comp. Looking at it now I would have liked the photo moved over to the right so that the boulder on the right hand side isnt cut off. Let me know how you would have it changed. Id be interested to know. Cheers for your encouraging words.
Thanks
Michael
Many thanks for the comment on "string Quartet". I honestly never thought about that void in the corner until you mentioned it. Maybe I'm just naturally a little a-symetrical :) Anyway, thanks again and your comments and critiques are always welcome.
Glad you liked the repost of my picture glendlaough. You were right it definately needed a colour boost and such. Great to get the input from you.
Thanks
Michael
Thanks so much Christopher for your comment on Caked On! i really appreciate the advice, and i will try messing around with it to see what i can come up with. ~abby
Thanks for visiting Time for a Change. I took this yesterday in shirt sleeves after it snowed Monday night. The smell is wonderfully sweet. Wish I could post that fragrance, too.

Chris, many thanks for your kind words on "Sisters". I must say this shot is very dear to me, not only as a father, but also as an independent observer watching the pure warm affections of two sisters for each other. Thx once again!
Hi Chris, thanks for commenting on The Tetons and Snake River. It is from the very same place that Ansel Adams took his famous photo. I lovd his image from the very first moment i saw it and never dreamed i would ever visit the same place, in fact i half didnt believe it existed, it seemed so surreal. i still cant believe i have been there.
