Welcome, Welcome, Welcome....I'm not sure how I missed your entrance, except that perhaps the holidays have been interfering with my quality time on Caedes..lol..but I'm here now to rectify that situation and add you as a friend, and watch your beautiful photography and perhaps learn from you as well :)PJ
Hi Cliff, thanks for commenting on "Little Green Bridge", I did saturate the greens a little bit but the photo was taken on a rainy day in spring when it was quite green at the time and the overcast light seemed to enhance it. But you were right, it wasn't entirely natural. Cheers, Kelcey.
You could well be right in suggestion that 'LOCK-UP' this could be a water tower...it is situated next to a reservoir!?
Thanks for the kind comment and visit!
Hi Clif, many thanks for your kind comment aout Rare Tram. I am pleased you enjoyed it. I find I learn quite a lot myself by reaserching for info to put with a picture. I had no idea that tram was so old.
Thank you and most obliged for your kind visit to 'Well-Worn'...
There is a great deal of this kind of thing, not only in my locality! but further down country too!......It is just a matter of keeping my eye's peeled for the unusual!....when I am out in my wee car, I always go off the 'beaten-track' using old ordinance survey maps of the past!..which are available from my local library, and get a particular map printed out to explore!.........glad you like these kind of posts...I will endeavour to keep you informed!.......
Thanks Cliff, for your comments about “Silent and Deadly”. You mentioned the placement of his eyes, The most striking thing about his eyes is the colour, they are dark red and look like they were photographed with a flashgun, which of course they weren’t.
Hello Clif. Thank you for comments and query about “Celebrations”. The exposure was F/8 and bulb, probably 2 or 3 seconds. I used a tripod and cable release. I might take 30 shots during the show and if I get a couple of good ones I’m happy.
Hello Clif. About your comments at “Celebrations”. I forgot to say that I was tickled pink by your son saying that he “Don’t like banging stars”. I guess he was quite small at that time but don’t they come out with some memorable things? :-) Things like that will stick in your memory for all time.
Hello, thanks for your input on Clear. Well, I quite agree with what you said. No flash was used though, it was just such a clear and sunny day, perhaps I should have done something to make exposure better :) I'll do better next time.
See you around!
Hello Clif. Thank you for your comments about “Chasing Chicks” it was a pleasure and an honour to read such a thoughtful and insightful commentary. Thank you.
Thanks for the constructive comment on "soaking the sun". I did not notice the fence until I uploaded the picture and after that I did not feel the need to remove it with PS.
Thanks Cliff for your comment on "Washed Up Shell" I too love the glow right before sunset, and think it make a shot even better. (I'm never up for sunrises) LOL
My new friend, Clif !
Am so proud and happy to meet you.
