Cheers Chris,Believe me that Sunday in Swaledale was akin to being at the North Pole,The further up the valley we went the more wintery it got culminating with hailstones the size of Buckshot..Richie.
Hi Chris... Thanks for all your comments on my recent works! On the 'chiaroscuro dunescape' I actually did crop out the top but didn't really like it that way, I felt it needed some depth.
Looking at it now that it's posted, I think I've darkened it a little too much. Back to the drawing board!

Hey Chris..thanks so much for your comments on "Cathedral Door 2"...I agree with your critique about seeing more of the bottom of the door. I went back and tried it...it moves the lock and handle up a bit to make the shot more balanced. Thanks again!!
Thankyou so much for your comment on Waterdrop 2...
Hopefully when i have uploaded some more of these shots i will do a tutorial in the forum for anyone interested... But i did my research on water drop photography via google :)
Hi Chris, thank you for your suggestions on "Iron Curtain 1" (and sorry for the late reply)! I have a similar image where the fence disappears nicely in the background, but I thought this one more menacing, with the fence right above one's head. But I'm going to post the other one too, I have just to convert it to b/w before ;-)
I wasn't looking for it to do anything for anyone. This shot and the other IR were my first attempts at at this subject experimenting with a camera that i had been told was conjusive to IR photography.Hopefully when we get greenery back on the trees better pictures will be forthcoming..
Thank you for commenting on my Farmer I was thinking that to its just the sun is to southwest and the shading is just so crapy I can get any pictures like I would in the summer.

Waterstones Took it handheld Chris because i was on a narrow bridge ..Starting to find some faster shutter speeds and larger apertures so i don't need the tripod as much..Good job too as a farmer came whistling past on his tractor and gave me a good soaking..cheers Richie.
Thanks for your nice comments on Angels Hair and Crisp.
Yes, they looks a little bit dark, i should turn on the light in my room, when i edit my pictures ... ;-)
Good morning Chris. They do look like Kiwi!! I did not see that until pointed out to me by EJ! lol. Thank you for taking a look at and leaving a comment on “Spiders on My Cucumbers.” I truly appreciate it. ~~ John
Thanks for the comment,i tottaly agree with u,i did not try to recreate it exactly,i wanted to do more like a artistic soft beauty,i try to make it softer and sweeter if i can say that!
Hello and thank you for your assessment of Condensation. I quite agree with your evaluation and should have taken more care before posting but nonetheless very pleased you enjoyed the image. A quick look at your gallery and I find a number I like. Alley, Too Tired To Work, and Walking Home are among those.
..thanking you in advance for your comments. Please know that all your comments are appreciated....." Live well, love much, laugh often!" .... mygallery
Good morning Chris and thank you for your comment on "Simply Negative, Simply Positive, Simply Fun." I really liked your entry and feel it is the front runner. You made me think of variations of your shot. Like shooting down a dark basement stairs with only the light of a basement window illuminating the steps and area around. Good luck with yours! ~~ John

Chris, thought I better send you a note to make sure you were not offended. I love the British. Bob and I go round and round teasing each other. Great country, great people.

Thanks for your comment on "Alert Always" (the deer) Chris. You are right - I should have blurred the background only slightly, if at all. I have also seen what you wrote in the discussion forum about C-Index etc. and I agree with most of what you wrote there.
Thank you for your critique of Wooden Eagle. This shot was taken inside a booth at the Decoy Festival. Hope the single light source didn't detract too much. Again~TY
Thanks for commenting on 'Christmas in the Park'
I really appreciate the feedback. I felt like the bright was too much... but I still enjoyed the shot. Thanks again!!
Hi! Thanks for your input and ideas on Treasure Rd, and yes I understand what you are saying about the black and white, that is a great idea that I should have thought of. When I was looking at the shot I remember thinking it was sort of dull in the color department and black and white would have been perfect! :)
Hi Chris, Thanks for looking at "Bronte Country" and Tanks for Your comments. as two people have said about the wall I will crop it and re add it later. Thank You again.
Hi! Thanks a lot for your comments and suggestions on Treasure Rd. Creek. I really appreciate your input, and you always have helpful suggestions too! :)
